1. Introduction & Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Pricd. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Pricd mobile application ("App") and associated services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Pricd Ltd ("Pricd", "we", "us", or "our").

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service. We recommend that you read these Terms carefully before using the App.

2. Description of Service

Pricd is a voice-to-quote mobile application designed for tradespeople operating in the United Kingdom. The Service enables you to:

  • Record voice descriptions of jobs and work to be carried out.
  • Have those voice recordings transcribed using artificial intelligence (AI) transcription technology.
  • Generate structured, professional quotes based on the transcribed content and your pricing inputs.
  • Create and export quotes as PDF documents to share with your customers.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account. When registering, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process.
  • Keep your account information up to date and promptly update any changes.
  • Maintain the security and confidentiality of your login credentials, including your password.
  • Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • Notify us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account or any other breach of security.

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use the Service. We reserve the right to refuse registration or terminate accounts at our discretion.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

  • Use the Service in any way that violates any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
  • Use the Service to generate fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive quotes.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service, other users' accounts, or any systems or networks connected to the Service.
  • Introduce any viruses, trojans, worms, or other malicious software to the Service.
  • Use the Service to transmit any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional material.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the App.
  • Use automated scripts, bots, or other means to access or interact with the Service without our prior written consent.
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service if we reasonably believe you have breached these acceptable use provisions.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, including the App, its design, features, functionality, underlying technology, trademarks, logos, and all associated intellectual property rights, are owned by Pricd Ltd or its licensors. All rights are reserved. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App solely for its intended purpose in accordance with these Terms.

You retain full ownership of the content you create using the Service, including the text of your quotes, job descriptions, and any customer information you input. By using the Service, you grant Pricd a limited licence to process this content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

6. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses artificial intelligence to transcribe voice recordings and assist in generating quotes. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies.

You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and approving all AI-generated content before sending quotes to your customers. Pricd does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any AI-generated transcriptions or quote content.

Pricd shall not be held liable for any losses, damages, disputes, or claims arising from errors or inaccuracies in AI-generated content, including but not limited to incorrect pricing, missing items, or inaccurate descriptions of work.

7. Subscription & Payment

Pricd offers both free and paid subscription tiers. Details of the features and limitations of each tier are available within the App and on our website.

  • Free tier: Provides access to a limited set of features at no cost. Usage limits may apply, including restrictions on the number of quotes you can generate per month.
  • Paid tiers: Provide access to additional features, higher usage limits, and premium functionality. Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) as selected at the time of purchase.

All prices are displayed in pounds sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable. Payment is processed securely through our third-party payment provider. By subscribing to a paid tier, you authorise us to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel your subscription.

We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time. If we increase the price of your current subscription, we will notify you at least 30 days in advance, and the new price will apply from your next billing cycle.

8. Cancellation & Refunds

You may cancel your paid subscription at any time through the App or by contacting us. Upon cancellation:

  • Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period.
  • You will not be charged for any subsequent billing periods.
  • Your account will revert to the free tier at the end of the current billing period.
  • Your existing data, including saved quotes, will remain accessible on the free tier, subject to its limitations.

Refunds are generally not provided for partial billing periods. However, if you believe you are entitled to a refund due to exceptional circumstances, please contact us and we will review your request on a case-by-case basis. Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pricd Ltd, its directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, data, business opportunities, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the total amount you have paid to us in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law.

10. Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and protection of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause and with or without notice, including but not limited to the following circumstances:

  • You breach any provision of these Terms.
  • We are required to do so by law or a court order.
  • We reasonably believe your use of the Service poses a risk to other users or to Pricd.
  • Your account has been inactive for an extended period.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. We may, at our discretion, provide you with a reasonable opportunity to export your data before your account is permanently deleted. Any provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall continue in full force and effect.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the updated Terms come into effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

We encourage you to review these Terms periodically. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when these Terms were most recently revised.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
